DANIEL J. MARINO CANCER FUND

In December of 2011 Daniel J. Marino (my father) was diagnosed with Leukemia. He passed away in February of 2012 at the age of 62. He was a devout husband, a selfless father of three, and a dedicated worker for the City of Akron for 30+ years. My parents made annual donations to St. Jude's, their local church, and several other charities/organizations. This charity is a way to honor him and help Northeast Ohio families that need financial assistance while they help a loved one fight cancer.

The Daniel J. Marino Cancer Fund will organize an annual volleyball tournament, dinners, and other charitable events. All of the proceeds will go to families from Northeast Ohio coping with a loved one diagnosed with cancer that are in need of financial help.
